Don't be alarmed, Im still alive. *sigh, well nowhere to begin really. I have been on some unexplainable hiatus; for does of us in the Midwest and East coast; polar vertex 1.0 and 2.0 got the best part of us to say the least. Spring oh spring, I calleth, where art thou!  I'm hoping that by next week spring had better be on its way.

I really enjoyed having this soft pink lip color on. Wanted a break from the red.

 

I am absolutely inlove with my pants from BCBG, everything was a spontaneous decision really, I had initially just gone in there to check something out for a friend when I came across these pants and the outfit idea just popped in my head like a flash bulb. lol Oh and my shoes were purchased sometime in December, these have to be my highest pair thus far (tall girl probz) buh I went into the shop to look for winter boots and I came out the store with these babies instead LOL -_- story of my life.(in my defense they were clearing boots from the shelf already! lol ikr)

Well it's cold and wearing dresses or short outfits out has been a bit of a struggle;(and no I am not about to freeze in the name of fashion lol)  looking for ways to remain warm n in style has been enjoyable to work on. Hoping the coming weeks brings spring along with it. Amen

Celebrate; we made it to 2014!

HAppy new year! i know its already the third day of the month but its better late than never huh?

well i cant even begin to explain the reason for my being MIA.  I just have been exceptionally busy. it pains me to neglect my beloved blog for such a long time but life happens.

 

Well its a new year nonetheless, besides a change to the date, its just like any normal week or day to me. I personally stopped giving into the new year resolution fad a long time ago because I believe you don't have to wait for the date to change to make changes to ur life. You can start anytime as long as u are ready.

 

 

So were going to be heading into spring very soon and i cant wait to see what the latest trend on the runway and streets this season would be. I honestly cannot wait for spring. Winter is not in anyway my fav time of the year. I hear bold one piece statement colors are gonna make waves. We'll just have to wait and see.

'Noir et blanc'

Hello beautiful people.

Outfit I have on below is one that i had envisioned in my head but didn't expect to rock so soon. I planned to wear the outfit, but then i kept changing my mind. Bottom line; it was a last minute decision. I had previously envisioned to pair it with an amazing black and white midi skirt I purchased towards the end of summer, but then opted to wear it with this body con skirt instead,as it better suited the occasion.

Countdown to fall

Hello, its Tuesday, counting down to weekend already ei? Lol aren't we always counting down.

Well hope everyone is having an interesting midweek.

I took those photos over  the weekend, first things first; (1) the weather that day was very gloomy, the sun was hiding somewhere, thus the picture(s) turn out, (2) I was kinda ILL (still in the recovering stages :( , (3) my friend's camera *coughs* (she"ll kill me I know).

It was a really hot day, I really need a cool fabric against my skin, so I opted for this simple tee cause the fabric is soft.

Like i sed it was a blazing 100deg that day, dint wana wear jeans or any thing long for that matter. These retro high rise shorts were my fav pair alll summer cause its just so comfy.

 It was def too hot for makeup either. lol
