It was a really hot day, I really need a cool fabric against my skin, so I opted for this simple tee cause the fabric is soft.

Like i sed it was a blazing 100deg that day, dint wana wear jeans or any thing long for that matter. These retro high rise shorts were my fav pair alll summer cause its just so comfy.

 It was def too hot for makeup either. lol

What to wear: Job Interview

So its's ''that'' day? the day you have been prepping for a week or two now. Well, while "decorating" your resume and practicing your replies are all part of an interview prep, your appearance is also very crucial. It is said that a first impression matters, and looking "Sharp" leaves a long standing impression. We all know that dressing for most job interviews involve formal attires but who says you always have to stick with a boring pair of slacks and an over starched shirt?

What to WEAR: Job Interview 1 (Featuring Saks fifth avenue pearl earrings)

Outfit one can be worn with either of the blazers and either of the platform heels. The high rise work pants gives a sophisticated look to the ensemble, be sure to tuck in the vest. Outfit two can be worn with either of the shoes, depending on what you are more in sync with. Noticing that outfit two already had a bright yellow color as part of the ensemble,, I chose to tone it down with neutrals. Black/nude, always a classic.  Be sure to tuck in the blouse. Outfit three has a mixture of colors but they are all soft colors. When I put together the white and pink attire, i did not want to go with the basic black to finish up the look. So i opted for a soft green that would ease its its way into the outfit without being too over the top. I also threw in the gold and black link chain tummy belt which is to be worn loosely on top of the skirt, to add a pop of shine and boldness to the ensemble.

Make up should be light and simple, and you can decide to have your hair up in a bun for a more professional look.

Touchdown~August

Hello!... I have been super MIA. unlike me. its been a super event filled couple of weeks, so I have not even had time to sit for a minute to share on my blog. ugh and also because most of the time some of the pics I want to post on here are on other people's cameras;thus they keep procrastinating their send in dates. lol I have to literally keep reminding them, until I can pin them down and get the pics.

Anyhoo I have quite a lot to share, I don't even know where to begin. Unfortunately I can't post the pics in the order they were taken, as I wanted to initially  Cause if I keep waiting to get all the pics before I post, then only God knows when I would eventually post them. I still cannot believe that I did not share anything in the whole month of July. This is what happens when you wait too much. lol.

Sorry I did not really take much pictures. I wanted to wear this dress with heels, but my mood while I was dressing up was not in sync with wearing heels. I really just wanted something comfy, so I opted for flat shoes. Also since it was a BBQ party, I dint really see the need for heels. (my personal opinion)

What to wear: Wedding.

Hello? How is everyone enjoying this lovely summer?

So a friend of mine is attending a wedding this weekend and she was in a dilemma on what to wear. She was caught up in finding the "appropriate" dress or outfit because according to her, she says she's got only club like dresses in her closet and do not think any of them would be appropriate for a daytime wedding. lol.. Anyhoo after some brain racking we managed to put together an outfit that could work for her. Inspired by her dilemma  I made up a collage of possible wedding appropriate outfit ideas to share with you guys. See them below. xoxo

Outfit 1

Yes you were expecting to see a  dress I know. lol. who says you can't switch it up and wear something different.   I like this look because it's a semi-formal elegant ensemble, and promises to make a statement at a wedding. Go for a little loud on your makeup but not over the top, and finish this look with chandelier earn rings  (I forgot to add those to the collage,my bad)

I like this high-rise midi skirt because if you decide not to reveal any glimpse of your tummy while rocking a crop top, you can definitely pull it up all the way to meet the end of the top. Throw on the blazer to finish up a semi-formal yet edgy look, or you can ditch it if u like, the choice is urs.

I'm loving this dress. I racked my brain to find a pop of color to mix into it, because I did not want to go with the basic black. I finally came up with purple. The purple is soft enough to ease it's way it the outfit. This is most def my top wedding outfit in this collection

Style Post: Tribal Print Maxi

Tgif! yeh?

This was an impromptu shoot, I had no idea i was going to take any pictures when i was leaving home. lol welp, life is filled with spontaneous activities innit?

I had on a flowered print jean vest jacket over a tribal print maxi dress, for a casual day out. Perfect on the go outfit for the summer period. I personally prefer to wear mine with a vest jacket, but most definitely this dress can be worn w/out the jacket, OR with a long sleeved denim jacket, to give it a more serious, yet flirty look. I would have taken ashot w/out the jacket, but as stated earlier this was an unplanned shoot.

P.S  Prints on prints? (you may be wondering) well this is 2013 yo get with the program. Lol apparently this is a fashionfoward matching according to celebs, most important thing is pulling it off well.

Only make up I had on was my Mac ruby woo lipstick(lightly applied) and I lined my brows.

Over all, I kept it simple and light. It's just one of those days where you want to be simple and laid back. Perhaps a pair of gladiator sandals, more accessories and a bit more makeup can hype up this outfit for a dressier look.

Yo Yo Yo!!!!!!!!!!! warridoo? lol its okay i'm just feeling all hyper at the moment. Haha. Taking a quick study break and I decided to do what I love doing best.

  This outfit really can be worn anywhere, without the bright red lipstick, it can be worn as an "on the go" outfit. I wore the lipstick and statement neck piece to make it a little more bold, and dressy. 

I had on a lion neck statement ear ring, sadly its not visible in any of these photos, hopefully in the next style post, I would make it more visible. It's really cute and I really wanted to share.

I know you guys might probably be wondering why i don't take out door pics, lol i do actually, but lately most of my outings have been late evenings or at night ,so I take them inside cause its brighter. Well I shall try to take more outdoors pics.. hehe, my summer break starts in 4 days! *woop* cant Wait, I would have more time then.
